About us
Ingenita is a bioinformatics company built by researchers, for researchers.
Why Ingenita exists
Sequencing has become accessible to almost every laboratory. Making sense of what comes out of it has not. Between a research group with a good biological question and the answer hidden in its data there is often a gap that no core facility fills: someone who understands both the biology and data analysis, and who stays long enough to see the project through.
We come from research, and we still think like researchers.
The name
Ingenita – Latin for innate, belonging to the nature of the thing itself. Biology is inherently complex, and the data carries that complexity. Reading it is our work.
What we believe
The question comes first
Methods are tools, not identities. We do not have a favourite pipeline to sell you – we have a biological question to answer, and we choose the approach that answers it.
Doubt is part of the method
We question our own results before anyone else does. When a result matters, we try to reach it by an independent route – because a finding that depends on one analytical choice tells you about the choice, not about the biology.
Everything is traceable
Reproducibility is not a feature we add at the end. Parameters and versions are documented as we go, so any result can be traced back to how it was produced.
Work with us
Tell us about your project – the biological question is a good place to start.

You will always know who is working on your data.
